Jacque was born to parents Kenneth Charles and Kimberly Gale (McCune) Hicks on May 18, 1987 in Jacksonville, FL. She was a native and life-long resident of St. Johns County, graduating from First Coast Technical High School in 2006. Jacque met the love of her life, Robert Solana, who was a fellow student First Coast Technical High School and the two were married were married on May 7, 2006, one week prior to their graduation. Jacque worked in child care for many years and in partnership with her husband she founded Solana Cleaning LLC in November of 2019. Jacque’s most important purpose in life was her role as wife, mother and homemaker. It was her first priority and a source of great Joy! She was the kind of mother that every mother should strive to be. Jacque was a giver, always putting others before herself. She was always happy, caring and forgiving. She had learned contentment in all circumstances. These qualities flowed from her strong faith and love for the Lord. She was a member of First Baptist Church Hastings. Jaque will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Robert C Solana and children, Emily Rae Solana, Mason Solana, Jaxin Solana, Rylan Solana, and Haden Solana; parents, Kimberly and Kenneth Hicks of Fruit Cove, FL; sister, Michelle “Mikki” Hicks and her son Noah; mother and father in law, Janet and Robert Solana of St. Augustine; sister in law: Virginia “Beth” Wood and her husband Jason of St. Augustine, brothers-in-Law, Tony Solana and his wife Beth of St. Augustine, Blair Corbin and his wife Heather of Fruit Cove; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother in law, Brandon Corbin and maternal grandparents, Wanda “Peepye” and Siebert “Popeye” McCune and paternal grandparents, Dorothy & Mack Hicks.
A celebration of Jacque’s life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Anastasia Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Damico officiating.
